Are you currently a Sales Executive in the Building Industry or related fields looking for a change of scenery?

My client, one of the largest specialist nonwoven producers in South Africa, is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to form part of the senior sales team, responsible for the building materials market segment (Insulation Products) at retail and industrial level. Duties include:

  • Take overall responsibility for the sales performance and results of the territory
  • Set budgets in consultation with senior management
  • Formulate sales plans and initiatives to meet set budgets
  • Identify and establish new markets for the product range
  • Explore and establish new product lines
  • Assume national key account responsibility up to head office level
  • Develop and maintain existing markets and customers.
  • Set up and nurturing distribution networks.
  • Do technical support/product training to customers
  • Collect market intelligence and build a market model
  • Compile and submit relevant reports/sales forecasts

  • The personality attributes and selling and entrepreneurial skills typically associated with successful sales & marketing people.
  • A Code 08 unendorsed driver’s license.
  • Your own reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes.
  • Excellent bilingual (English & Afrikaans) communication skills (verbal & written).
