GIS Data Company providing superior geospatial solutions to support decision-making, using premier data sources and advanced technologies to optimize your workflow to increase value and deliver outcomes. Their expertise spans across a wide number of industries and projects, offering solutions for agriculture, resource management, urban planning, mining, oil & gas, environmental monitoring and defence and intelligence.
Research, identify and cold-call leads.
Arrange meetings and demo’s for Key Account Managers.
Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines.
Update customer records in the company database as required.
Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions.
Collaborate with the sales personnel to monitor active sales processes, purchase orders and ensure that orders are completed on time.
Report any operational or service issues to management and the appropriate Key Account Manager immediately.
Associate degree (Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred)
1+ years’ sales support experience
Proficiency in LinkedIn and other social media for business
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
Customer Service Skills to be able to speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options to them.
Communication skills to speak/communicate with customers about product’s different features and answer any questions they might have.
Flexibility to allow for working long hours, nights or weekends as required.
Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if a sale is lost will be key for this job.
