National Sales Manager (FMCG) - Western Cape - R35,000 - R45,000 per month

Main Purpose of role:

  • The incumbent will report to the Sales and Marketing Executive of the company.
  • Responsible for the National Sales Function of the company.
  • Developing of the National Market as per the business strategic objectives, effective service to customers, ongoing growth of the national market and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and related stakeholders.
  • Support the management team to ensure that the business remains profitable by ensuring customer needs are met through the provision of quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • Lead the company on its strategic path to become the preferred health food snack supplier.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years proven track record in a national sales management function in the local FMCG environment
  • Experience with dealing with local retailers
  • A Good Understanding of the National Sales functions within the food production FMCG industry.
  • Customer orientation
  • Performance driven, good communication skills, Computer Literacy
  • A high need for achievement, reaching goals, objective and targets
  • Management of the complete value chain
  • Self-discipline and driven to succeed
  • An ability to build and maintain relationships effectively


Experience Required:

  • Direct communication with all national agents, customers, distributors, and related parties.
  • Internal communication with Sales and Marketing team, Factory manager, Quality Manager, Finance and Admin, NPD manager, Distribution.
