Production Manager (Soft-Cheese, Spreads) – George - Market Related

Seeking a Production Manager in a fast-paced FMCG industry with good technical experience in cheesemaking to manage the production and packing of cheese (soft cheese) in accordance with set specifications, procedures and quantities.

Qualifications and Experience

• National Diploma/Btech Food Technology.
• Between 5- and 10-years’ experience in a managerial capacity in a production environment.
• Must have previous cheesemaking experience
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, SYSPRO, WMS)

Key Performance Indicators for this role (but not limited to):

• Controlling departmental overhead expenses
• Effective management and control of manhours and overtime
• Management of production costs
• Execution of New Product Development trials
• Managing teams to ensure that departmental goals and objectives are achieved
